Our Legacy

 There is a lot of disappointment in the world. Many people are poor, many are afraid, and many are without hope. Politics in our country seem to be over generalized and torn between two parties. Both sides claiming to be the good in a world they portray as black and white, when it is mostly shades of grey. Thousands of people who have a good cause and reason to be angry butcher their credibility because of their lack of unity and the extreme measures only a few of them take. While the majority of us sit and do no more than complain in our own homes but don't have the courage or drive to make a public statement. I realize that we all have our own lives and complications that take up our time and we deserve to be able to focus on them and not have to deal with what goes on with the rest of the world but it is a luxury that we can not, at this moment, afford. If we can not fix this now then what sort of future do we leave for our children, and what sort of legacy would we leave behind?
